I am Margaret, as is my mother, and her mother. For all
of this century and most of the last, the Margarets have
been church musicians. I, the third Margaret, was brought
up to serve the church through music. more...
I was raised in the Presbyterian church, and expected my
life to be centered around the church and the music created
within and for her. This all came to an abrupt end when
it became clear I am homosexual. more...
I still serve as a sacred musician. I now serve in a
church without walls, a church known as Gaia. This church
welcomes all. This church nurtures those who come in peace
with a reverence for all life. more...
In 1997 I released my first solo CD under the name of 3rd
margaret. That CD, alone..., is no longer in stock.
